Tuna Cheeseball

Ingredients
- 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) chopped fresh chives
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) onion powder
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) chopped fresh dill
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) garlic powder
- 1 tbsp (10 ml) worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) hot sauce (optional)
- 8 oz (225 g) cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can (170 g) Ocean’s Albacore Flaked White Tuna, drained
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup (250 ml) toasted sliced almonds, to coat

Directions
- In a large mixing bowl combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, chives, onion powder, dill, garlic powder, worcestershire and hot sauce, if using. With an electric beater or wooden spoon, beat until smooth. Add the drained tuna and grated cheddar and mix until thoroughly combined. . Season to taste with salt and cracked pepper.
- Place mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap and wrap and shape into a ball (or any shape you like). Wrap tightly and chill in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Remove cheeseball from refrigerator and unwrap. Place toasted almonds onto a plate and roll cheeseball, pressing gently until evenly coated. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.For a playful presentation, shape the cheeseball like a fish and use the toasted almonds as scales.
- Serve with crackers, cut veggies or sliced fresh baguette.
