
Deli-style Tuna Reuben

Ingredients
- 1 can (170g) Ocean’s Solid White Tuna in water
- 1 tsp Montreal steak spice
- ⅓ cup thousand islands dressing, divided
- 4 slices marble rye bread
- 2 tbsp sauerkraut
- 2 slices swiss cheese
- Butter, softened to room temperature
- Dill pickles, to serve

Directions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine tuna, Montreal steak spice and 1 tablespoon of thousand island dressing.
- Mix well, breaking the tuna into large chunks.
- Spread remaining dressing onto the slices of rye bread.
- On the bottoms of two slices, divide the sauerkraut and top each with a slice of Swiss cheese.
- Spoon tuna mixture over the cheese and finish with the remaining bread, buttered side up.
- Heat a pan over medium and add a bit of butter to coat the surface.
- When the butter is hot, add the sandwiches, pressing gently to help them brown evenly.
- Cook until the bread is golden, then flip carefully and cook until the other sides are toasted and the cheese just begins to melt.
- Cut each sandwich in half and serve with a crisp dill pickle.
