Watermelon Mint And Avocado Tuna Salad

A delicious salad that requires minimal cooking time and fresh summery ingredients? Yes please! Nothing is more cool and refreshing than grilled watermelon, avocado and mint. Topped with a Thai Chili Tuna Steak and you’re one step closer to juicy, flavourful goodness! No dressing necessary.


  • 1 ½ cups fresh watermelon, cut in wedges
  • 1 small avocado, sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh mint, roughly chopped
  • ¼ small red onion, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (swap for mild chili powder or paprika if you don’t like spice)
  • Coarse salt to taste
  • Optional: 1-2 tsp honey to taste
  • 1 package (2 x 150g) Thai Chili Yellowfin Tuna Steak




  1. Grill the watermelon wedges 2 min per side.
  2. Divide all ingredients between two plates, top with chopped red onion.
  3. Finish with a light sprinkle of coarse salt to bring out the flavours.
